Whenever I see a tractor on the road, I ask myself a million questions! Who the hell allowed tractors on highways?? especially tractor with a trolly, they are slow, dont have back lights, brakes dont work when they are loaded, and always cause disturbance to fast moving vehicles! and the fact that local governments use them for transportations doesnt improve the situation either !!! My grandfather used to tell me , that carts in his time used to hand a glowing “lal-tein” on the back of the cart in the night! Even in the day time, when the length of the object exceeded the length of the cart, they used to tie red shinny flags at each of the object to notify the passing vehicles. And whoever didnt follow these rules, he used to spend the night in jail! Why dont we follow these rules anymore? Why arent our law makers doing anything about it. About our law makers, i used to remember public service adds on ptv like, “waseem bhai, aap thakte nai hein” or “the one with a long conversation on the phone” or “bad parking” or “the child taking influence from father on smoking” or “the use of high beam headlights in the night” etc. Why dont we get to see them anymore? Dont they feel obliged to educate the nation? If this thing continues like this, the name pakistan would disappear from the map of this world !!

I am stuck up in a moment for the past 8 months or so, and I cannot find myself to be able to move on.

“Sound of Music” is probably one of the few movies i recall from my childhood. I was discussing educational movies with a friend of mine, and this is the best name i could come up at that time. It has everything, a good story, educational perspective and a totally family movie. Probably a little slow for modern taste, but still a must watch, especially for mothers and kinder garden teachers … for tableau purposes … below is a clip from the movie ..
